AD Welcome to the Jungle

A Guest Bedroom makeover with Rebel Walls and Oak Furniture Land We’ve pretty much flew through renovating the house; moving from room to room one after another but after a little break I was desperate to do something bold and I had a full guest bedroom to do from scratch! Getting Started – Installing the Wall Mural First step was to install the wall mural. We chose Secret Garden from Rebel Walls; a Swedish company with a huge range of beautiful murals. My Love of Frogtape

How to create gorgeous designs with a very small budget. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll have spotted that I like to use frog tape to add a little interest to a room. And if you’ve been following me a while you’ll know I’ve been at it for a while now too! Alice’s room for example has those gorgeous layered mountains and I have a corner of pink in my living room. Hello, Ciao, Hola, Bonjour …

See what I did there? I am really excited to be taking over the blog of Girl in the North from Katy. I hope I can do all of her hard work justice. One part of my home that I absolutely adore is Alice's room which allowed me to be really creative and go a little bolder.

Bucket List – 006 Buy my own house

Friday just gone was an incredibly exciting but long and busy day for me. After finishing work and a visit to see one of my best friends, I got in later than I expected. That was when the reality of the situation sunk in, that in the morning a removal van was coming to get all my furniture and I hadn’t packed one thing! You’re probably thinking, ‘hang on a minute Katy, didn’t you just move in?’ And you’re right it was only 12 months ago that I started to rent my little house and I’ve loved every second of…
