North East Fashion : Sunny Days

The weather has been absolutely beautiful (compared to the snow) the past few days and to celebrate the sun I’ve been wearing my favourite wedge heels to run errands and dash to meetings in. These bad boys are from New Look – I bought them early last year in the Sunderland Bridges store sale and they are seriously the most comfortable shoes I own. I could run a marathon in them! I can’t find the exact pair on the site because they’re not new but New Look do offer some similar ones. Apparently our good spell of weather is soon…

Healthy Eating : Trek

The official programme is soon to launch and I’ve heard on the grapevine…

Sunderland Live Launch

The event took place at Angelos Restaurant in Sunniside and in celebration of the brand had been decked out with orange themed sweets from Sweet Home Alabama and delicious cupcake bouquets by Baked Cupcakery (see above)! Carrying on with the Sunderland theme, guests were then treated to an acoustic set by The Lake Poets and feasted on a delicious buffet provided by Angelos. It…

Lots of people ask me why I started writing a blog and quite honestly the answer is, I started because I wanted to get the best grades possible at university and it helped! When it came to graduating time I’d picked up the habit though and throughout university people had complained to me they couldn’t find anything to do – so I decided to prove them wrong and write about things to do in the North East. I explain this in my faq’s, if you haven’t already seen. I was tired of hearing how bored people were and how there…
