Things to do in the North East : April 20th & 21st

Sunderland Live's Soundscape Festival

If you’re looking for something do in the North East this weekend then there are plenty of options! First up Saturday see’s Sunderland Live present to you a new grassroots music festival, Soundscape. Coinciding with National Record Store Day some of Sunderland’s most prominent restaurants, cafes and bars deliver to you a day of family friendly live music. Some of the venues include, Sweet Home Alabama, Serendipity and even shops like Lush are getting involved. It promises to be an absolutely fantastic day.

Bishop Auckland Food Festival

Fancying a lazy Sunday with some delicious food, this weekend also play’s host to County Durham’s Bishop Auckland Food Festival. This is always a treat for the senses with every kind of food imaginable. I’ll be popping through on Sunday to stock up my cupboards – make sure you say hello if you see me!

And finally if you’re out and about in Newcastle, then look out for NE1’s Newcastle’s Most Stylish team who will be on the hunt for the North’s best dressed! There are some fabulous competition prizes to be won if you’re picked!
