The 25th Sunderland International Airshow

Wednesday, 17 July 2013

Remember this post from last year? Time flies when you're having fun and it's less than two weeks now until the 25th Anniversary Sunderland International Airshow.

Last year I spent the Airshow as a spectator, choosing to grab a box of strawberries and perch myself on a quiet part of the beach - this year I shall be working there which will be quite different. However if I wasn't then I would be purchasing an upgrade and making up a picnic to take with me to the premier area.

The Sunderland Airshow is a free events and attracts over 1,200,000 visitors every year, so in an effort to beat the crowds (to the loos and bars) you can purchase a VIP pass for only £10.00. A VIP wristband will then give you access in and out of the site, allow you access to a private bar and exclusive toilets. Plus it will also guarentee the best sea views in a private enclosure and reserve you, a very comfy deck chair!

At the reasonable price of £10.00 or £30.00 for a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children), it's a lovely way to treat the family or a group of friends to a weekend out! Other more luxurious upgrades are also available throughout the weekend and full details are available on the Sunderland Live site.
