North East Blogger Events in Sunderland, Durham and Newcastle

The past month or so has gone by in a bit of flash if I'm perfectly honest and I've had more things to blog about than ever before! This is great, it's just I always have to try and maintain a work/life/blogging balance. So I thought a great idea would be to round up some of the events I've attended into one post, rather than try and blog about them separately.

First up was The Body Shop event organised by the lovely Maddie who works at the Eldon Sq branch. I was running a bit late to this and when I arrived the place was packed! With a generous discount available, I decided to treat myself to a drench sponge which I'd heard a few recommendations. I have to tell you, it's brilliant for exfoliating - especially if you're tanning your legs! No more nasty patches on your knees! Unfortunately I never got chance to take up the hand massages or make-overs that were on offer but it was still a lovely evening.

All sorts happened in the next few weeks but I already blogged about the majority of this. Then NE1's Newcastle Fashion Week began where as mentioned previously, I took part in Fenwick's Blogger Style Challenge, attended the WYSB fashion show, Love Niche runway show and several other events which kept me busy for the week!

In between all these events I was popping to the office and heading to meetings. There are a couple of really exciting projects that I'm working with at the moment and so The NE Bloggers and I popped for a breakfast meeting one day. We all had pots of Nana's Cure For All and poached eggs on toast - a brilliant start to the day.

Finally Danny from Lush in the Metro Centre held a brilliant event where all attendees made a bath bomb and Angels on Bare Face scrub. I was tempted to buy most of the shop but resisted, only before been sent off with a massive goodie bag which I shared with my Mom! So all in all some fantastic North East Blogger Events! If you're interested in attending events like this in the North East, then make sure to head on over & follow the ladies at The NE Bloggers as they've got some exciting things lined up!

  1. So super jelous of the Lush event!
I'm a massive Lush user as I don't use any products at all that are tested on animals and they're one of the top stores for fighting for the animals!
Sounds like everyone had alot of fun :)

    Best wishes,
    Danielle.
