Weekly Update : Out and About in the North East

This past week I have been all over the place, running to meetings, reviewing some local businesses and catching up with friends, all polished off with a delicious pizza night in with A last night. So my lovely mini and I have literally drove around the majority of the North East this week!

The week began with a little opportunity whereby my Mom got to utilise her o-level in photography - we had a right laugh and Coco kept photo bombing so I thought I'd share one of the outtakes. If you've been following me on Instagram then you'll know I next headed south of the region to Stockton earlier in the week. After a couple of meetings I headed to Cafe Infinity for a delicious Buffalo Mozzarella and Tomato Sandwich. I was so hungry... I never got a chance to photograph but I highly recommend if you happen to be in the area. Cafe Infinity is right on Stockton's riverside and you can book a table but if you're feeling a bit lazy and work in the area - they'll deliver too!

My Dad can be a real charmer at times and brought my Mom and I tulips home on Wednesday which he bought from Darlington Market. I then headed to Newcastle for some more meetings... in between these I popped for a look around the new Cath Kidston store and snapped a few photos for another post! Then headed to the Laing Art Gallery for a wander. They have some great exhibitions on at the moment but my favourite part of any gallery is always the shop! I managed to pick up my Mom some lovely birthday presents from their paper art section.

Friday I took a trip to the lovely Sunderland to catch up with friends before heading to A's for pizza and cocktails. And now I'm back at home for a relaxing weekend, I'm planning on treating myself to some chocolate and a bubble bath. Hope everyone's had a good week/weekend so far!
