Having a cold and generally feeling a bit run down means I haven't really felt like doing much these past couple of weeks. Rather than planning lots to do, I thought I'd have a really lazy weekend. I had a lovely lie in this morning before wrapping up warm and driving back to my parents with the top down on my car. It was a beautiful sunny autumn day in the North East today, so I pulled my wooly scarf and ray bans on and turned the radio up.
My Mom and I decided we'd pop to Darlington, a really nice market town near where they live, for a spot of lunch and some shopping. We headed straight to a Bistro on Skinnergate for lunch and then hit the shops. I picked up a lovely new knit jumper from River Island and we bought lots of new things for my Mom's up and coming holiday in House of Fraser. Before heading back home via Starbucks for a Caramel Salted Hot Chocolate which by the way is delicious!
I'm now snuggled up on my sofa watching terrible Saturday night TV with a face mask on and I plan on spending tomorrow reading the Sunday papers and lots of blogs. So make sure you send me your link if you have one!
