The Olive Coffee House North East England

The Olive Coffee House Menu Sunderland

I heard a while ago about The Olive Coffee House and Kitchen and yesterday when running errands in town with A, we were desperate for a quick lunch so popped in. And what a gem of a find it was!

The Olive Kitchen is based in Olive Street in Sunderland, right next to Park Lane interchange so it's really easy to get to. We grabbed a table inside because the weather in the North East wasn't so fantastic yesterday but they have a lovely courtyard out the back to eat al fresco should you fancy!

The Olive Restaurant Chicken Milanese

The Olive Restaurant Steak Ciabatta

We were expecting quite small portions (my photos don't do them justice) but they were huge. We decided as we weren't starving hungry to get a hot sandwich each and share a side of chips. I went with the Chicken Milanese and A picked the 4oz steak ciabatta - we were stuffed. The side order of chunky chips were just so delicious but I could hardly eat any as I was enjoying my sandwich so much.

The rest of the menu looks just as good as our food was and I cannot wait to go back and try the rest. I've already invited my brother to come through for their new Sunday Lunch menu which starts on August 5th. You can book a table at The Olive Coffee House by contacting them or they welcome walk in's! Let me know if you've been or if you go - I'd love to hear your menu recommendations!
